Ed Overcash
Ed Overcash is a retired Magistrate who has now started his own law practice in Greenville, SC. He is also employed on a
part-time basis as a system administrator and website developer for the Spartanburg County Detention Facility. Ed is
married to Cynde and they
have two sons; Zachary and Ben. Ed is a graduate of USC and USC Law School. He was awarded the Club Honor Key in 1997,
and was recognized as Civitan of the Year in 2002. His hobbies include running and playing the guitar. Ed is also a
Master Gardener and a computer wizard. Our Club members and other visitors regularly enjoy the Civitan Website that Ed
created and maintains. As coordinator of the 5K Spring Fling Sprint, Ed manages to bring together and organize people,
places, and things with the expertise of a symphony conductor. Ed provides a terrific example to all of us who believe
we are too busy to be actively involved in our Club's programs and projects.
