CIVITAN OF THE WEEK
This Civitan, the Club's newest member, is a pilot with the Security Finance Corporation. He resides at 474 Narrow Circle in Inman. The native of Miami Beach spent four years in the United States Air Force with service at Biloxi, Mississippi and France. After high school and tech school, he has completed training as pilot ratings, airline transport engineering and work with private gliders. He enjoys boating canoeing and hiking. The former air show performer is a member of Trinity United Methodist Church. The Civitan-of-the-Week is Robert (Bob) Simmons.

THELMA'S MOTHER
Thelma Easley's mother, Mrs. Dorothy Thompson, passed away on Wednesday at the Sumter County Hospital. The thoughts and prayers of Club members are with the Easley family. Richard's parents continue to just holding their own. This couple's burden has been heavy.

USHERING
There are two ushering opportunities at Twichell Auditorium this week. The first is a Valentine event for the Chamber of Commerce on Monday. The second opportunity is Friday, February 19 for a Ballet Spartanburg event. Please see Greg Whisnant to volunteer. Let us not leave it up to a very few people to fulfill this responsibility.

REGION THREE MEETING
Region Three of Civitan International consisting of North Carolina East, North Carolina West and South Carolina will be meeting in Greensboro this week. The meeting will be Saturday, February 12. Our own Bryan Bobo is the Region Director.
