CHRISTMAS IN APRIL
Upon the recommendation of the New Projects Committee, the Club agreed to participate in the Christmas In April program again this year. The work day will be announced at the meeting today. This is a worthy project.
CIVITAN OF THE WEEK
This Civitan is a retired Realtor. He has the distinction of having a street named for him. He and his wife, Rachel, reside at 168 Aberdeen Lane and are the parents of Deborah and Wayne. The World War II veteran served in the United States Army Signal Corps from 1943-1946. His higher education institutions are The Citadel (English) and the University of Missouri (Personnel Management). He enjoys gardening. The member of the First Presbyterian Church has taught dancing at the church for over ten years. He teaches the fox trot, waltz, swing, tango, cha cha, rumba, and mambo merengue. The Civitan-of-the-Week is George M. Drummond.

SPECIAL OLYMPICS SPRING GAMES
The annual Special Olympics Spring Games are scheduled for Tuesday, March 28 at the South Carolina School for the Deaf and Blind. The rain day is Thursday, March 30. This is a very special event to help some outstanding participants. Volunteers are needed will be trained at 7:30 P. M. at the Voss Gym at the South Carolina School for the Deaf and Blind. Everyone participating in this event is blessed in a special way. Please volunteer to help if you can.
BMW TOUR
The Friday, April 14 meeting will be held at the BMW plant for a tour of the facility. This is a rare opportunity for the Club. Lunch will not be served for this meeting because facilities are not available. Members are requested to have their lunch prior to the meeting. The five-dollar charge per person will be borne by the Club.
