CIVITAN OF THE WEEK
This Civitan is a retired merchant and is a native of Jonesboro, Georgia. He and his wife, Vivian, reside at 110 Fernbrook Circle. He is the father of Bob, III, Barry and Baxter. Currently, he and Barry are the only father-son members in the Club. His higher education experiences were at North Georgia Junior College and Georgia State University where he earned his BSC degree. The member of First Baptist Church of Spartanburg lists his interests as family and church. The Civitan-of-the-Week is Robert L. (Bob) Wynn, Jr.

CLUB APPROVES EXPENDITURE
The Club, last week approved the expenditure of $1,000.00, on the Board of Directors recommendation, to help purchase a truck for the Civitan Rehabilitation Workshop.

AWARDS AND INSTALLATION BANQUET
The annual Awards and Installation Banquet (formerly known as Ladies' Night) will take place at 6:30 P. M. Thursday, September 28 at the Piedmont Club. This is the most festive event of the entire year. A good number has signed up already and today is the last chance to sign up at a meeting. Plan to come and bring your best friend. We will only charge you $25 for your best friend.

PLANNING RETREAT
Officers, Directors and Committee Chairs for 2000-2001 are reminded of the Planning Retreat next Friday, September 29 from 1-3 P. M. This will be a Dutch treat.
