April 26 Program: OK Gaskins, Chairman of the Spartanburg County Christian Released Time Program, spoke about the importance of introducing Christian Education into the school system. Released time takes place during school hours in an off-campus location.

We missed Bill Ferguson, our fearless Sergeant at Arms, last week as he was home recovering from knee surgery. Our best prayers are with him for his complete and speedy recovery.

CIVITAN OF THE WEEK: Judy A. Wilson
Our Civitan of the Week is employed with Spartanburg Mortgage Corporation. Judy is the vibrant and loving Mom of Tyler Wilson. When Judy isn't ripping up and down the roads chauffeuring Tyler to his many activities, she enjoys the outdoors, exercise, and eating! Judy is a graduate of FSU and Nova University. Judy serves on the Growth and Retention, Publicity and Club Bulletin, New Projects, Golf, 5K Run, and Special Olympics Committees. Our Club is blessed to receive and share in Judy's compassion, enthusiasm, and Christian witness.

TOMORROW IS OUR BIG DAY! We look forward to meeting at Barnet Park at 7 am. We have an opportunity to publicly answer that big question; "What do Civitans do?" They care, smile, assist, and work together to make Spartanburg a compassionate home for all people.
Converse College Graduation - Not many have signed up to usher for this event. This is our opportunity to 'show off' our best behavior to the community of Converse College. We need at least six volunteers. I look forward to hearing from you.
