Our Club was recognized with a Recruitment Award for the 4th Quarter of last year. CIVITAN OF THE WEEK: HORACE B. ARTHUR

Our Civitan of the Week is a former employee of the Community Cash Stores. Horace retired after 54 years of faithful service. Horace is the proud father of Libby Knudson and Kippy Romero. Libby has attended several of our meetings and often attends our special events. We are grateful to Horace for sharing Libby with us. Horace served in the US Navy and for the US Seabees. He has been a member of the Ben Avon Baptist Church since 1943 and has been a member of the Spartanburg Country Club since 1948. Reading is his favorite pastime. Horace is the all-time 'King of Fruitcake' sales. His dedication to this arduous task is unsurpassed. Horace's quiet presence and warm smile give us even more to look forward to on Friday's. Looking for a good example of what it means to be a Civitan? Look at Horace.
