SOMETHING TO THINK ABOUT:

Look at a day when you are supremely satisfied at the end.  It's not a day when you lounge around doing nothing; it's when you've had everything to do, and you've done it.

WE HONOR OUR CIVITAN OF THE WEEK:          Scott Brown

Our Civitan of the Week is employed with Bomar Printing.  Scott and his lovely wife, Dana are the devoted parents of Morgan and Kellen.  Recently, they became the very proud and doting grandparents of Aiden, a beautiful addition to the Brown family.  Scott and his family are natives of Wisconsin, where he still enjoys stealing away for hunting, fishing, and camping trips.  Scott will be very busy this next year while he serves as President-Elect, supports our new President, and begins to form goals for our future.  Currently, Scott serves as the Chairman of the Golf Committee and is a member of the Charles Lea Center Committee.  We are fortunate to reap the benefits of Scott's loyalty and dedication to our Club.  His humor, caring, and faithfulness are gifts he shares generously.

USHERING AT TWICHELL:

"I am looking forward to Bill Brown's leadership in the coming year and ask that you join me in active support of him and his goals.  I encourage each of you to bring a guest to our meetings.  You all know someone you can invite from work, the Dr.'s office, the grocery store, church, your neighborhood etc.  The future of our Club depends upon membership growth and retention."

NEXT MEETING:  September 12   Our Speaker will be our own Odd Juel.  Odd will be sharing 'life in Norway' with us.
