Our
Civitan of the Week is a retired Realtor with the Magness Agency. George is a member of 1st Presbyterian
Church and the father of G. Wayne Drummond and Debbie D. Tomlinson. George is a graduate of the Citadel and the
University of Missouri. He served in
the US Army Signal Corps from 1943 to 1946.
George honors his Mother and Father as being the greatest influences on
his life. I wonder if was their
influence that spawned George's love of music and compelled him to spend so
many years in community service at the Shepherd's Center teaching dance. George has recently moved to Eden Terrace
and if you haven't made note of his new address, it is 2780 E. Main Street, Apt
P-205, Spartanburg SC 29307. His new phone # is 579-7930. While George is adapting to this most recent
change in his life, he is also serving on the Ushering, Special Olympics, and
Charles Lea Center Committees. We are
grateful for George's spirited participation in our programs and promotion of
mission to serve our community through Civitan.

work, the Dr.'s office, the grocery store, church, your neighborhood etc. The future of our Club depends upon
membership growth and retention."

Gallman so that they may be "recyled" this coming year.
