PROGRAM NOTES FROM- November 7:

John Polydorou shared interesting facts, history, maps, and slides of his recent trip to Cyprus.  Although some of our members were hoping for more "graphic" slides, John's presentation made us dream of the time we can visit this beautiful country and enjoy its ancient culture.

YOUR VISIT MEANS A LOT TO US, WE HOPE TO SEE YOU AGAIN SOON:

Nick Lambroukos - Friend and Guest of John Polydorou

Earl Rambow - Former member of the Spartanburg Civitan Club

Jim Bullman - Greenville Civitan Club

Libby Knudsen - Daughter and Guest of Horace Arthur

A THOUGHT TO GROW ON:

There is more in us than we know.  If we can be made to see it, perhaps, for the rest of our lives, we will be unwilling to settle for less.

Kurt Hahn, Founder of Outward Bound

WE APPLAUD OUR CIVITAN OF THE WEEK:       Bill Hunsucker

Our Civitan of the Week is retired from Milliken & Company.  Bill and his wife Margaret are the parents of Susan Dean, Anne Braddy, Debra Hartsell, William Hunsucker, Jr., and Pamm Broome.  They are the busy grandparents of nine.  Bill and Margaret are members of First Presbyterian Church.  A graduate of UNC-Chapel Hill, Bill enjoys traveling, walking, camping and playing bridge.  Bill has served our Club faithfully since 1991.  He formerly headed up the Ushering at Memorial Auditorium and excels at gaining Sponsorships for our fundraisers.  Currently, Bill serves as the Director of Membership Services.  We are fortunate to count Bill among our good friends and our Club is made better because of his dedication to our mission.
