NOTES FROM – March 4, 2005
Christy Henderson, Chief Meteorologist for WSPA, News Channel 7 was our Speaker. Christy is from Ft. Worth, Texas and has worked in Waco, New Orleans, and Atlanta. We were pleased to learn a little more about how the weather is forecasted and what criteria defines severe weather warnings. The most weather-related deaths occur from flash flooding. Flash floods are six or more inches of moving water.

for our Ushering Program. I
understand that no one really wants to Usher and sometimes that even
includes me, but the revenue is extremely important to our Club. We need to keep that in mind. Perhaps thinking about the work involved in
raising $10,000 in another way might inspire you to sign up for a few
events.
